Equity Research Association (ERA) is a student-run club, founded in 2020 at The University of Melbourne.
We are devoted to developing a well-rounded equity research skill set amongst our university student community by offering a range of exclusive networking and development opportunities for our members.Our committee members and research analysts also strive to produce comprehensive research and analysis on your favourite companies, as well as educational contents about equity research to bridge the gap for beginners.

Club Aims:
- To provide members insights into the equity research industry, specifically the roles played by the equity research industry to support the operations of other industries such as asset management, investment banking.
- To offer members a clear picture of careers in equity research, and enable members to be updated with the recent equity research career opportunities with equity research firms.
- To enhance members’ understanding about how fundamental factors such as corporate governance, competitive advantages and industry landscape affect the prospects of real-world companies.
- To equip members with practical skills on researching the fundamentals of real-world companies and industries, specifically, with a focus on sourcing information, direction of research and analysing companies’ future prospects.
- To act as a platform for like-minded students to regularly interact and discuss the findings from their research.
